NSA leaker comes forward, outs himself as 29-year-old computer tech

A 29-year-old computer technician named Edward Snowden has identified himself as the National Security Agency leaker who revealed details about a supersecret U.S. program that sifts through scores of data from telecommunications companies like Verizon. Snowden told the U.K. Guardian that his only aim in leaking the information was to "inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them."
